WOIN NOW: Support NPC Healing exploit question

On p. 191 of the NOW rulebook, there is a suggested exploit for Support style NPCs called Healing which says "The support NPC can heal allies with an action an amount of Health equal to their damage roll. Each can only benefit once." Presuming it is this NPC that makes the damage roll, is it this NPC's unarmed damage roll? Or was this just an error and it should be something else like the support NPC's medicine skill roll or a LOGIC roll? Using the damage roll seems a bit odd and rather weak since most NOW characters only have an unarmed damage roll of 1d6 + STR dice pool magnitude as a flat modifier, and I wouldn't figure a support NPC as having a particularly high STR attribute.

None of the above. It doesn't say unarmed damage', and neither is it an error,. Damage for all creatures is defined at the top of the previous page.
