My guess (based on random speculation) is that the winners won't be writing anything with a game mechanic until the 100 pager, if then.

Which actually makes the idea of the templates even more interesting. If there is a 10-pager template, than it equally applies to your CoC game, your MERP game, etc. Make a story and a world, and *then* make the crunchy bits.

My opinion, anyway.
