NPC's for D&D Version of "Kill Bill Vol. 1, Chapter 5" fight

Silver Moon

Adventurer
So I am basing an upcoming battle on the "Showdown at the House of Blue Leaves" scene from Kill Bill Vol. 1.

I am looking for suggestions as the the D&D Race, Class and Level for NPC's based upon these characters:

O-Ren (Yakuza boss played by Lucy Liu)

O-Ren's Lieutenants:
Johnny Mo (Crazy 88 gang leader)
Gogo Yabari (teen schoolgirl killer)
Sofie Fatale (French/Japanese lawyer)

Unnamed O-Ren Bodyguards (sent first to fight)

Crazy 88 Gang members.

The question is meaningless unless you also tell us the number and level of the PC's.

And these days, you probably should go ahead and give us which version of D&D you are playing.

1st Edition AD&D -
Six to Eight playing characters levels ranging from levels 7 to 13 (more at the higher end).

1st Edition Stats OE

Body Guards: 6 8th level Yakuza (27 hp) - All have Katanas. (This is slightly higher than their quick deaths would suggest, but is good for an RPG scene.)
Crazy 88: 4 4th level Yakuza (14 hp), 36 3rd level Yakuza (11 hp), 42 2nd level Yakuza (7 hp), 1st level Yakuza (4 hp). All have Katanas. These will go down hard, but remember Yakuza can use their ki power to take half damage from any attack (1 day/level).

Gogo Yobari: 12th level Kensai (51 hp), 18 DEX. She fights with a signature custom chain that can attack as either a footman's flail or a chain. She always makes one additional attack per round with her off hand, using whatever mode the weapon was not used in that round. This attack is at no penalty. As a Kensai she prefers to challenge one character to single combat. Gogo knows the 'feint' martial arts trick, and employs it regularly if a foe proves difficult to strike. Gogo also knows the 'circle kick', 'great throw', 'weapon catch' and 'immobilizing' martial arts tricks, and will try to disarm her foes if she has a clear advantage. Additionally, if she has immobilized a foe, she may attempt to garrote them with her custom chain.

Johnny Mo: 11th level Bushi/Ninja (44 hp) - 18/34 Str, 17 Dex - Johnny prefers to attack from surprise and backstab his foes. He uses swords of all kinds. As master of two-handed fighting, he makes one attack per round with his scabbard (as a club) in his off hand at no penalty. Johnny Mo knows the 'Speed' martial arts trick, and he will use it if he senses a battle is coming to a close.

O-Ren: 15th level Kensai (82 hp) 16 Str, 16 Dex, 16 Con. O-Ren knows all of the Kung-Fu martial art special maneuvers, as well as all those known by Gogo Yobari. She prefers however to rely on the elegance of her chosen weapon.

Sofie Fatale doesn't appear to be a combatant. She'd be fine as a 0th level fighter. However, if you want, you could make her Sage (8d4 hp), with the ability to cast 1 1st, 1 2nd, and 1 3rd level clerical spell, as indicative of her study of law. She'd fight as an 8th level M-U.

Thank you so very much. The scenario worked well, although varied significantly from the scene it was based on. The party successfully used a variety of magic to keep most of the "Crazy 88" cannon fodder out of the battle, and concentrated on the main characters. The party also fought to incapacitate rather than kill, which I also had not expected, with the only casualties being the handful of Crazy 88 mooks that made it into the scenario. Afterwards the party "lectured" their incapacitated foes as to the error of their ways, took their stuff, then fled.

No problem.

Sounds awesome. I'm glad I was able to provide some small help.
