Number of Powers Per Day

Quick question: When it says you have like 4 Daily Powers, does that mean you can use those 4 Daily Powers in one day (but only one each), or does it mean you have 4 to choose from for that day, but can use only one until your next extended rest?

Sorry, but this is really confusing me (probably shouldn't be).

For example: if you have 2/4/4/5, does that mean you have 2 At-Wills you can use constantly, 4 Encounter Powers that can be used in every encounter, 4 Daily Powers that can be used in a single day, and 5 Utility Powers that can be used whenever?

Any help would be appreciated.

If you have a lvl 1 Daily and a lvl 5 Daily you can used both the lvl 1 and lvl 5 Daily, they will then be regained when you take an extended rest.

If you got DMG too, then check out page 143 - Powers per Classlevels table, wich shows how much power / level you got to use. Its for making higher than lvl1 starting characters, but it can be useful too, to understand the /day system.

Yes, you basically have the idea. Just a clarification, Utility powers can work similar at-will or encounter powers, the description will tell you how often and when you can use them.
