NWN and the Tarrasque

1. Cones, gas, fire, why bother. Why not just have the Dragon drown the Tarrasque, could such a thing be done? Dead & bloated, I think so... though I could be wrong.

2. D&D should be played how ever your group wants to play. There are NO rules on the topic. Be it power game, dramatic & heavy rollplay, planned battles/wars, or 6 hours once a week of doing nothing but staring at each other not speaking a word till the end when you all say good game, then go for a coffee and reminisce about all the things you could have done. It doesn't matter how some one or someother group plays as long as your having fun.

I was running a game that was leading up to an epic battle with the Tarrasque. I had prophocies fortelling a great menace, and refuges coming from a land it was currently destroying. The game ended at 8th level due to problems with the group, but it was going well up until then. None of them had any idea what it was leading to, but all knew it was something big.

I was thinking at one time of something like this, but the players had to find a obscure way of stopping the creature as head-on was nearly impossible. The way is intertesteing in itself, I won't say it here because my players read these boards and it is still something I may do later.
