This happened last week-end.

I was in the Bugbear Lair, with Olgar, Darius and Moe (I think i'm forgetting soneone else?!). Olgar had tamed a cougar before we went inside.

After a particularly tough fight, when the dust settled (so to speak), Olgar found that his animal companion had been killed. He mourned his lost friend, "Poor Kitty. *sniff*" as he put it. And then he turned to Kebur and asked me to say a few words for it.

I was taken aback and had to think about it for a moment.
I don't remember my exact words, but it was something like that:
"I did not know him very well. But he fought for the Good Cause. May Moradin have his soul."

Olgar seemed satisfied (much to my relief), but lamented for a while, "Poor Kitty. *sniff*"...
