Nymphology: Anybody buy this "adult" Mongoose Encyclopedia Arcane pdf?

I don't think you grasp the concept literally.

Frictionless Sheets - These covers seem like any other silk sheets, but
they have a nasty side. Three rounds after coming in contact with
living material (i.e. a person) the sheets become completely
frictionless. This could be very nasty if there is any strenuous
activity occurring at the time. With the loss of friction there will be
nothing to hold the person/s in the bed. Depending on the level of
activity the person/s could simply slide out of bed or be shot out of
bed at a high velocity. There are several applications for this magic
item. But if found randomly by a character it could be fun for the GM
to suddenly say to a character that while relaxing on his/her newly
found sheets the character slides off and can not clime back into bed
(HEH-HEH-HEH-HEH). The effect will wear off in 2-8 (2D4) rounds if no
living material is in contact with it.

actually, I think they don't do that at all.

TCGtUCK actually provides you with details for character pregnancies, effects of a mother's spellcasting on the outcome of the birth, ETC. also good guidelines for rolling up you characters' children. I find it quite useful, along with the special Items that it describes.

2 words : Frictionless Bedsheets:D

Once again I have to ask the question, why? Do you really need that for a RPG? I don't. Even if I had a female PC who requested to be made pregnant in game I certainly wouldn't need a book to tell me how to handle it. I would never force a pregnancy on a female character to begin with so the usefulness of this book would be nil.

As for the Frictionless Bedsheets, one word: stupid.

Just my opinion...

I don't mind having the pregnancy rules out there for those who want them, though I question the usefulness of super detailed charts and tables andmodifiers for "how good do I have sex" rules aside from maybe a 1d20 roll (with 20 being mind-blowing) if the player really wants to know.

I agree that frictionless bedsheets are stupid. IMO, immature humor and preachy essays waste huge chunks of the original GUCK, making me wonder just how much action the writers of these rules are getting in real life, LOL. :p

I think there is plenty of room to expand "blue magic" but in a more mature (and therefore more broadly usable) way. +5 paddles of spanking don't do it for me, but a variant of charm person where you must kiss the target is of interest and adds flavor to my game without reducing everyone to a needless case of the giggles.

I think White Wolf has done a great job of handling adult content without being juvenile. Mage: The Ascension showed that "tantric magic" could be transcribed into gaming terms with the Tradition "Cult of Ecstasy."

If WotC can put out the Book of Vile Darkness I don't see why they couldn't put out the Book of Arcane Ecstasy. ;)
