nymph's kiss at 1st level [boed]

I really think the circumstance bonuses of that feat are supposed to only apply when dealing with Fey, that takes the power down a bit. Has anyone asked the author/designer about that? And, by the book, it looks like a 1st level character with the feat would get the x4 starting multiplier.

Unless the player had an *incredible* story/background though, I can't imagine letting someone take this feat at 1st level.

If one takes the feat "Nymph's Kiss" at first level, does the +1 skill point/lvl get quadrupled?

I admit to playing a character with the feat, but no, not quadrupled at first level.

(I was really just looking for a feat which would give me an extra skill point per level...)

I don't really see a problem with the quadrupling at first level as long as anyone considers the feat balanced.

Edit: I'd rather see a problem with "not smooth rules" if you don't quadruple it.

Nymph's Kiss requires you to maintain an intimate relationship with a good aligned Fey. Because of the name (specifically kiss), the nature of the nymph and the word 'intimate', I assumed the relationship would need to be um, romantic in nature. Which makes Sejs story a little disturbing.

On that note, I wonder if Nymph's Kiss would preclude Vow of Chastity, and vice versa...

"and we were a really close family."

Nah, joking aside - intimate doesn't necessarily mean sexual, but it's open to interpretation either way.
