Official synopsis says this show is 10 years after the prequels, so about 5 years before Rebels.

That fits with 10 year old Luke.

One point, we know the Grand Inquisitor and Fifth Brother die later, in Rebels. We know Second Sister Trilla dies earlier, in J:FO. We need a new main inquisitor character who doesn't has script immunity!

The internets says the inquisitor in the trailer is Riva, played by Moses Ingram, so it's not the person I thought she was (unless she has performed at the Globe Theatre London and isn't credited for it on IMDb).

Second Sister is a title, not a name though, so it could be a different person in the same job. Trilla should be dead at this point anyway.

What surprised me is how much was drawn from the computer game Jedi: Fallen Order, specifically the Fortress Inquisitorius on the water moon of Nur.

It's not that it's canon (we have already had BD), it's that there is so much of it.

Oh Hayden Christensen is in this? thats cool, I liked the prequels, jar jar was annoying (and some dialogue) but the 3rd one was fantastic.

Well if the Inquisitors are playing a large role in this story, it makes sense to use the established settings and background for them. Plus, fan service has an appeal to a portion of the audience.
