[OCT] What are you playing

I think I am halfway through Warcraft III: the Frozen Throne. There are no movies in this one, so no great scenes to watch a few times over or clip and add to a campaign just for coolness. Call me slow, but I just got it less than a month ago and have been beating my head against a wall while playing on hard. Good thing I wimped out and switched to normal cause I think the learning curve is greater with this expansion.

Oh, and picked up a cheap copy of Smuggler's Run for PS2.

Jedi Academy. Man, I love this game! Strangely, I find the single-saber style more appealing and worthwhile than either the double-bladed saber or the two-weapon style. The latter two are too darn complicated! Also, the ability to switch to the Darkside and fight regular Jedi is kind of cool.

I preffered the saber-staff myself. Great fun, especially with the "realistic lightsaber combat" cheat.

That said....

Knights of the Old Republic = Crack

I can't stop playing that game, that is, when I have time.... Rephrase that, I can't stop wanting to play that game.

I beat Jedi Academy about two weeks ago. Tonight I purchased Mario Golf, Soul Calibur 2, and Viewtiful Joe. I'll try to post impressions later...

I'm in the midst of a long Europa Universalis II jag that started when I bought the game several months ago. :) Won with England and China. Now I'm taking France out for a spin.

I've been playing IL2-Sturmovik a lot. I like watching german fighters fall apart when I open up on them with the Hispansa cannons on my Hurricane. It's also fun for stuff like shooting your own wings off from the gunner's seat in a TB-3...
