Ocular Demon?

I recently read something about an eye/ocular demon/devil and now I can't remember where I saw it. Does this ring a bell with anybody?

Yes,

Only as I used something a few weeks ago that turned into a recurring encounter for a few sessions.

Check I could have sworn it was in MMIV, but didn't see it by leafing through it.

Maybe MMIII (Could swear it was full color artwork).

Basically a floating orb with eye powers that could steal foes Eyeballs.

MMIV seems one possibility, but it could also be the Oculus Demon from "Gathering of Winds" in Dungeon magazine.

There is an Ocular Demon in Dungeon issue 129. It is listed in the Age of Worms Adventure Path module "A Gathering of Winds."

It kinda looks like a pit fiend got a good look at the far realm and the far realm now gets a good look through him.

Wasn't there some kind of eye golem in that horrible adventure, "Die Vecna, die!"?

I assumed the oculus demon was one of the spawn of the beholder Great Mother, who is said to have mated with demons.

The adventure isn't explicit, but it seems a reasonable conjecture.
