Odd question about Teleport and Force Cage

A question came up in our group regarding Prismatic Sphere and Teleport. The DM ruled that, since the Sphere doesn't extend onto other planes, Dimension Door and its relatives would work just fine.

That got me thinking: Spells like Force Cage and Resilient Sphere specifically *do* extend onto other planes, as do all Force effects.

Do they block transport spells that depend on extra planar access?

Force effects do extend into the ethereal plane. Which means they can trap ethereal creatures.

Teleportation and the like goes to the astral plane and back. Those effect should not be affected by any force field.

Teleport would not be blocked by a force effect. Take a look at the spell Wall of force.
