D&D 5E (2024) Odyssey of the Dragonlords: Remastered Edition Is Coming to Kickstarter October 2nd

A 5.25e adaptions of Odyssey of the Dragonlords, but with expanded content, including absorbing player and setting content from Raiders of the Serpent Sea product, all 10 species from the two players Guide (it's 10 instead of 11 because Goliaths cover Tallfolk). And new adventures. Who knows what will be added by Stretch Goals.

Interesting... I already own both books (Odyssey of the Dragonlords, Raiders of the Serpent Sea) along with their players' guides. They're hefty, beautiful tomes. As much as this tempts me, the books that I already own are valuable to me and it isn't really THAT hard to convert older races and classes to the 2024 rules. Will pass this by, but if anyone doesn't have either, I'd highly recommend this.

Stretch goals are usually an albatross, but sometimes companies pull them off well (Arcane Library, it seems). I am only passingly familiar with either Odyssey or the Norse one. I just wish 3PPs would make an effort to support the non-WotC 5Es.
OK, the main point to consider with this TPP is thst the owner is currently actually a (high ranking) WotC employee: James Ohlen runs thir Auston video game studio, Archetype Entertainment, with his most recent TTRPG work being the Exodus sci-fi 5E TTRPG

Oh, well, that would kind of explain it.

I wonder if he is mad that they aren't bothering to market his new game?
