D&D 5E (2024) Odyssey of the Dragonlords Remastered Edition Kickstarter is LIVE

guess the campaign is not going as well as initially expected / hoped
Look at it this way: they've already gotten people with disposable income on the internet to give them three hundred thousand dollars for a campaign they already made.

Imagine how many new creators would be happy to have a fraction of that to start something, whereas this is people expecting others to crowdfund a project they have already sold for money.

That certainly plays a role, but there are probably many more potential buyers than 1,358. I’m not sure whether the bigger problem isn’t that over the last six years a lot of visually impressive and narratively comparable campaigns have been released. In 2019 Odyssey of the Dragonlords really stood out, but today it kind of gets lost in the crowd.

Before they extended the pledge period, I managed to roll a real life nat 20 and stumbled on(at that moment) the fact that one of the Early Bird pledges became available again on the final day. Got that locked in as soon as possible so I pretty much get EVERYTHING but the pins AND save some money compared to if I did the same thing that wasn't the Early Bird for everything. ( And I care about the physical maps more than pins).

It's also pretty nice that they allowed the pay over time option as well.
