No, Mynex is not who is converting me to PCGen. Our age-old battles are what has kept me from looking at PCGen for the past while.

As an early code contributer to PCGen (pre 2.6 versions) I remember the old discussions on both the ENWorld lists and the Yahoo groups.

There were several issues with permissions and licenses. Bad blood and some harsh words did not help matters. That and a thread I started back about 7 or 8 months ago that got out of hand. PCGen had some over zealous fans.

It is good to hear that people are considering taking another look at PCGen.

So. Huh. That's exactly what I was expecting to happen, so I'm stumped! Maybe they're going to do free work on E-tools as a sort of "payment" for getting the lisence to use non-OGC WotC content? Dunno.

Guess we'll find out tomorrow or Thursday, though.

i HIGHLY doubt that one. E-tools is MS Access driven and a database to boot. PCGen is run by LST files in JAVA. It's like trying to mix oil and water, it'll be nigh high impossible to do.

Now if they somehow pull that out it'll amaze me. Someone's gotta know something! Did they send the letter certified? Tracking number??? Where is it?!?1?
