Official Condition Cards

No, I would not buy such a product. It's cheaper to buy index cards and simply write your own condition cards and power cards.
Well, yeah, it would be cheaper to grab a collection of stones, rags and pocket lint and just remember what each one meant, but Weem's cards are still nicer, and a well produced "official" set would be even nicer still. If you always buy just on price, all you end up with is a pile of cheap crap... ;)

I don't know about you, but I have neat handwriting. ;)

Sadly those RPGA cards were outdated within a month after the following errata. While these condition cards might be a good idea, those Power cards by book a horrible waste of cash/resources since you'll only use about a 1/5 of the cards. (Unless you really like playing all different types of rangers).

Weem:

Thanks for making those great cards. I'm going to suggest that my group try them in our next session.

May I make a few suggestions?

1. For ongoing damage, an icon (you make great icons!) or a color to indicate the type of damage would be helpful. Green for acid, blue for cold, reddish orange for fire, etc. The blood splatters are great for untyped damage.

2. It might be helpful to have a place on the card to note resistance to the damage -- it's easy to forget you have it. (Players are eager to start their turns and may rush through the ongoing damage phase without thinking, or else have to inflict it later when the DM says "hey, did you remember to...")

3. It would be nice if there were a place to indicate the duration of conditions.

4. Also -- save bonuses or penalties?

I know, it's getting complicated at a certain point. Maybe a few extra cards that one can pair with the conditions. For example, Stunned card paired with "-2 on saves against this condition".

Just ideas.

Glad you like em ;)

Those are great ideas, but as I mentioned earlier, I have zero time at the moment. Hoping to be freed up in a month or so, but we'll see, hehe.
