OGL Question concerning FR...

If I design a module for the Forgotten Realms, do you have to sell it to WOTC, or can you publish it and sell it yourself?

Forgotten Realms seems like it is a WOTC world only and that the OGL doesn't apply to Realms material. Is this the case?

You can't use any of WotC's trademarks in your own products, which includes FR. You'd need to write your own D20 setting.

The only WotC material that you can use is the in the System Reference Document:

There is no Open Game License in any of the FR books... and none of the material contained therein is released as Open Game Content.
