Lol This is exactly the problem I'm facing. (And hoping to avoid!) Buying minis before the game isn't hard, it's trying to get them all shipped to you on time without paying a pound of flesh and a pint of blood....


Miniatures.

There's a new D&D Minis Starter game, but it's technically DDM2 not 4E, per se. (A fine distinction, I know.)

For what it's worth, I've been a sucker for miniatures since long before 4E rolled around.

I studied german in high school, and this looks very similar! Maybe I'll study Dutch now .

On topic... is anyone here in a position of power at WotC, such that they could get us (or even just me ) the information we're looking for?

...That someone would leak H2: Thunderspire Labyrinth, so I could start buying the minis I'll need for it.

Alternatively, an official list of the creatures present in the module would be acceptable to me as well.

D&D should bring out miniatures on the warhammer market.. Then i can paint my own eladrin, tiefling or halfling..

They did, back around 2000. It was called Chainmail. I loved it. It flopped.

You can still find some of the minis in game stores (more online than brick 'n mortar) or eBay.

You'll have the satisfaction of knowing that, for a brief moment, you will be a hero to dozens, if not tens of dozens of people!

If it's within your power to get me the list of H2 creatures, I think you should do it.

Disclaimer: I don't want to be seen as encouraging questionably legal/questionably moral behaviour here, so if it's within your power to pirate H2, I'd prefer if you didn't. I'd just really like to be able to start collecting the minis I need early!

Where can I petition WotC to release creature lists ahead of product releases? (...Maybe I'll PM staffers on the Gleemax boards.)

Trouble is, I can't order minis if I don't know what monsters I need represent. I think it'd be dandy if we could get an extra month's headstart on shopping, allowing us to actually have all the minis we need before we start the module.
