Can't seem to find them in the archives anymore... I hope they get reposted...
In anycase, I remember a few articles, and my guess is if you look through them, you'll get a glimpse of what 4e will be...
So off the bat:
A reduction of Death Attacks.
A Reduction of Destruction Attacks.
Less Monster abilities, but an attempt to solidify the usefulness of those that remain.
Less stuff that requires lots of book keeping.
I wish I could bring up those articles.
