I was here early. I dont remember how early but I remember that this is my second account. Something happened with the site and I had to create this account. I know that I was around before 2002 because my son was born at the beginning of 2002 and I was on this site some time before that. With all the talk of the OGL I just wanted to say that in those days this site was an AMAZING resource that I used to discover new products and help weed out the garbage and point me toward things that I would up either liking or loving. Until fairly recently I had a good amount of the books (physically) that I bought during that time. I was a BIG fan of Malhavoc Press, Necromancer Games, Frog God Games and Green Ronin (still am) and at the time the PDF boom was right up my alley. I might be a rarity but I don't look at the d20 glut as a bad thing. Over time I think the garbage products mostly went away and the good stuff stayed in one form or another. I'm pretty sure that I first heard about Paizo's Age of Worms AP HERE on this site which prompted me to start picking up Dungeon regularly and even subscribing eventually. Something that in my years of reading it sporadically I'd never done before. This eventually led me to Pathfinder and away from here as this continued to focus more on D&D as it always had. Still, I pop by every now and then to check in on an old acquaintance. It's nice to see it's still around even though my own involvement and activity is at a minimum.
