Old TSR Mini Games

I was a BIG fan of Minigames, BITD.

I have Saga, Pleasantville, and Antares...and I also have stacks of minigames from Task Force and Metagaming (anyone remember The Fantasy Trip? Ogre/GEV?), as well as the Tom Wham games from Dragon Magazine (Boodles, etc), and the new ones from Cheapass games, like Kill Dr. Lucky.

Then of course there were the Nova Games "Lost World" series, and Ace of Aces...

*sigh*

If only I could get my group to PLAY some of them...

Cool that one can get some of Dwarfstar's games free for download. Hopefully the same can be done with those TSR mini-games.

I saw that - really nice to see. "Demonlord" is right up there with "Divine Right" as my favourite fantasy wargame of all time, I guess I'm going to have to get reacquainted.

It was called Vampyre with a Y! This should help your search! They advertized in Odyssey Magazine, an astronomy magazine for children from the early 1980s.

Another company you may like is Metagaming Concepts. They produced pocket games like those from TSR. In fact, TSR's pocket series was in reaction to Metagaming Concepts. Games were mostly fantasy and science fiction related. Their inaugural game, "OGRE", a tank game, is available at the steve Jackson games web site (I'm new to here so I can't provide a link until I gain the trust of the admins). When you find the site, search for Ogre Pocket Edition. It costs a mere $2.95.

I just found this post with a duck duck go search and didn't notice until after postin that the Q was answered many times over. Forgive this. Vampyre coems up on eBay every now & then. I type "vampyre TSR" as the keywords.

Oh thanks for the trip down nostalgia lane!
I remember these game fondly, with Revolt on Antares and Vampyre being my favorites.

We played a ton of vampyre as kids, doing everything we could to defeat Dracula. Man, I wish I knew what happened to those and what my parents did with them...
