I love both WEG 2e and FFG... about equally... And missed the thread when it came round the first time. My favorite memories? WEG: Party is Steve (Young Jedi), Worgel (Wookie first mate), Falcon (failed jedi), and a smuggler captain. Steve carries only a lightsaber and commlink; Falcon carries an "XM-3000 Kill-o-zap" (blaster carbine, but +2d to intimidate)... Skipper has a DL-42 heavy blaster pistol, and Worgel's unarmed. The party are pinned down in a detention block by a squad of 8 stormtroopers. (Just like in ANH.) Worgel's using a captured from a guard light blaster pistol... Steve comments, "you guys sure are missing a lot." "You do better!" falcon says... "Fine, give me a blaster" Steve retorts. Falcon obliges... Steve drops a force point, goes forward, proceeds to kill the entire squad with the resultant 10 dice. (That's 3d on each...) "I never said I couldn't use one..." tossing the blaster back to Falcon. "Let's get out of here with the Governor." FFG: playtesting FFG's No Disintegrations, we had one of each of the included speices.. my eldest opted for the Gungan... and Martial Artist. Named her Nara-Nara; backstory is that she's Jar-Jar's child. Now, it is important that I've held to the "Darth Jar-Jar" theory (Jar-Jar is a hidden apprentice of Palpatine). Since ND is about bounty hunters... Well, later in the bounties, they captured a rogue force user... who bided time, then tried to escape. So... Nara-nara uses the most obnoxious destiny flip ever in my games... "I'm finding Vader's holonet number." "Hey, Unca Vader, itsa me, Nara-Nara. We needsa some help with dis bounty..." Yes, the kid invoked the Lord of the Sith against a remnant separatist sith.
