Kali strikes the man on horseback, and he tumbles off the horse unconsious.
What a lucky break! Oirhandir used the time to put a little distance between himself and the thugs. "What a shot! Good work!", he called to Kali.

It was the thing he'd been trying to avoid, since Lupic probably needed his last spell badly. Unfortunately, if he didn't survive this fight, there wouldn't be any healing magic for Lupic at all. Oirhandir cast his last healing spell on himself, the third time he'd done so that day. Feeling much better, the bard spurred his mount back toward Lupic again.[sblock=OoC: ]Oirhandir will ride to maintain distance between himself and the new thug on horseback. CLW restores 1d8+4=9 hp, bringing his total to 10/19 hp.[/sblock]

Kali chases after the newly mounted bandit on horseback, but drops her arrows before she can even load, not realy ready to fire from horseback.

Elise steadies herself on the ground.

The archer formerly in the tree makes a break for it into the woods, heading west.

Oirhandir heals himself

The newly mounted thug makes a break on horseback, charging past Kali heading south.

The end?? or Elise is up...

[sblock=combat]Elise (0/11, staggered)
Kali (1/6 HP)
Thug Under Tree
Thug previously in Tree (unconsious)
Oirhandir (10/19 HP)
Lupic (-3/27 HP - Stable)
Thug previously on Horseback (down)
Thug now on Horseback

Elise is up [/sblock]

Oirhandir rode to Lupic as fast as he could, and dismounted. Was his somewhat homely friend still alive? Glancing over his shoulder nervously lest one of the thugs decide to return to finish what he had started, the elf quickly checked over the fallen half-orc and did what he could to heal him without the benefit of his magic.[sblock=OoC: ]

Er, shoudln't Oirhandir be at 10/19 after the spell?[/sblock]

As the last thug flees, Kali rides back towards Oirhandir, even as he rides towards Lupic. Once she sees Oirhandir treating Lupic, Kali goes to find thier friend with good timing (Elise).

And the two remaining thugs get away, one on Lupics horse. Still, the party's losses could have been worse.

Lupic looks in poor but stable condition, as the bleeding has ceased, though he is pale.

Back in Town, Aiken and Nodis set out to head south, looking for their friends.

OOC: I'll have XP soon.

[sblock=Aiken and Nodis]Once the others finish up with the aftermath, you'll meet them fairly quickly. Also, while you won't get combat XP, you will get some RP and puzzle XP, so you won't miss out entirely. Sorry it took so long. Life has been rough.[/sblock]

OOC2: For those who don't know, I'll be steping back from PbP, as I anounced in the general forums. I'll still work to finish up this adventure

Kali finds the young woman slumped over, and manages to push her up onto her horse and thus bring her over to Oirhandir and Lupic.

"Any more of those magical songs of yours for her" says Kali pointing to Elise and trying tocover up her own bloody shoulder.
