D&D General One Homebrew Campaign World, Multiple Campaigns?

My campaign roots have existed since around 85 or 86.

I started it off as a custom area in Greyhawk, and eventually realized that I was charging so much that is should be its own world.

Every regular campaign I have run (in the military for 26 years, and after) have been based in that world. Characters effect changes, and the world evolves.

It has different areas suited for different campaign styles. Does it make total sense that there is a Jurassic Park/Monster Hunter area out in the eastern wilderness, maybe not but we have fun.

Yep been using the same world for about 20 years now. Have tended to set the games at different historical points, so a few 100 to 1000 years apart - mainly as the groups of players don't know each other and there is no link, also I enjoy seeing how different things happen. Also used it across multiple systems - dependant on what the players and me are most familiar with at the time.
