One major thing I sure miss...

Actually, my immediate priority is going to be catching up on 3e supplements (almost entirely 3pp).

There are some non-d20/OGL stuff purchases I plan to make. However, these are primarily limited to picking up a couple of earlier edition Shadowrun books (Magic In the Shadows, Shadowrun Companion, Native Tribes of North America, Seatle Sourcebook, and pdfs of Shadis and White Wolf) , a few RMSS/frp supplements (i.e, Spell Law, GM Law, and School of Hard Knocks) and Mayfair's DC Heroes Who Who 1.

My main focus though is going to be picking up stuff for M&M, True20, d20 Modern (primarily the RPGObjects and Adamant print and pdf supplements that I do not own) and 3e with 3e pdfs being my immediate priority as I still have a huge list of 3e stuff to get before the license expires.

I used the sale at ENWorld and Adamant to get started by filling in missing supplements in their lines.

My next set of purchases is Blackdyrge after which I will begin purchsing the following 3e pdfs (organized by publisher):

- Anubium

My memory may be fuzzy on this but I don't even think Sunless Citadel was out when the 3E Core books released.

Heh. Your memory probably is fuzzy. So is mine, but on this one I've got documentation. :)

"Sunless Citadel" came out in September of 2000, a month before the MM hit the stands. That's why so every stat-block was listed out: the DM had no other reference for monsters to use. :)

I think the new MoP is a great opportunity to create a great new cosmology. The building blocks are certainly sound.

Honestly, if I hated change, I would be sticking with 1E, since most of the stuff the "grognards" here like still strikes me as new-fangled foolishness, particularly when it comes to the planes. Far from hallowed canon of yore, most of the Planescape stuff reads like gilding the 1E lily to me, so its loss to me is no big deal.

I love the Feywild and Shadowfell. It's the things like divine challenge, per encounter/daily fighter exploits, paragon paths/epic destinies, +1/2 level bonus (except for the unified save progression which I do like), the removal of skill ranks, milestones, healing rules, daily item rules, etc. that I don't like.

People tend to forget that there was a gap between the release of 3e and any supplements, as well. The 3e books didn't come out all at once, and the first real expansion was the martial splatbook, Sword and Fist, which came out nearly six months after the PHB. The 3E psionic handbook came out in the following year, 2002. I personally think it's a little early to be disappointed by the lack of updated supplements. I mean, the 4e Manual of the Planes is due out soon, and the 4e FRCS just came out (and the 4e FR PHB is due shortly, iirc). Certainly, at Gencon, players were running to the WotC booth each day to try and score the new FRCS and were asking throughout the day....so some folks clearly were excited or at least eager.

I think part of the problem, at least for me, is that I could adapt Pre-3E stuff while waiting for more to come out. Cleaned, refined and such, the D20 system was basically an evolution of what came before. 4E has an apples to oranges feel to me. Its a new game with new mechanics. I can't figure out how to work my 25-30 odd 3E books and who knows how many 2nd and 1st Edition items into it as easily.

This game needs supplements. There are so few abilities available at any given level that a Big Book O' Abilities/Spells/etc. is mandatory and at the same time...missing.

I want Manual of the Planes....
....and that's pretty much it. I don't use minis or dungeon tiles etc. so none of that appeals. Adventurer's Vault looks interesting but it's not something I'm salivating over.
Next year brings the PH II (which is kind of a given, especially if we're actually *playing* 4e by then) and (I'm told) Eberron. That I'll want.

To be fair, I pretty much get new 4e crunch/fluff every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and have been since June. The H series modules contained new monsters. And beginning last month, we're at a point where WoTC is going to begin to release a new sourcebook every month (except for October, but since I'm ordering all of September's releases from Amazon, it will probably tide me over).

Ah thanks. The only adventure I vaguely remember was the "Trouble in Trogdor" or whatever it was called bundled in the DM screen.
