An island protected by an Aquatic Ogre-Magi who the inhabitants consider to be a god

An uplifted coral makatea with no safe landing bays, inhabited by Kenku with gliders

A collapsing coral makatea being burrowed into by purple worms

Oh! Oh! Damn you! I have a great idea and really want to share it, though it just made the final cut for inclusion in the forthcoming print edition of Simple 20 (basically, I had narrowed it down to three settings from my Library of Weird, and it won out due to the fact that it is based on an island and, thus, easily inserted into almost any fantasy campaign world). If only you had posted this thread a few months ago

Volcanic lava island with a bunch of fire-based creatures.

Island patrolled by Talos, a triple iron golem. (Ha!)
