When I saw it, my first thought was that it was perfect for the First Winter National Monster Truck Rally on Mars.

Piffle! We are using a rocket backpack to drop a car-sized, nuclear-powered robot armed with a laser capable of vaporizing rock on Mars. Maybe we do live in the future...
