What makes him tick? What does he fear? Does he fear anything at all? These questions die in the throat of the questioner, silenced by the cold focus of the eyes. Eyes that see into the dark...

Note to DM:

Are we to meet for first time in this game or can we hook into each others backstories to establish friendships and common histories? Is this a new meeting or a reunion after a period of individual storyline? Are there any plot hooks you would like incorporated into our history? Any suggestions?

Background
John Tarmikos was born second son of a powerful merchant House that was trained for the military as soon as he could hold a blade. Preferring to tear his enemies before they knew what was happening he focuses on two blades he was trained for all. AS a son of wealth he was by the best trainers his family’s money could buy. At 15 he was sent to the military academy. In the Academy he learned the value of good armor as well as the weakness of that same armor and trained himself to fight in heavy armor. Finishing the training there he was sent out to his first group as an Officer. After less than a year he was kicked out for beating another officer to near death for reasons of his own.

Upon leaving the army he took his weapons as well as his armor and attempted to return home. When he did his father told him not to ever darken his doorstep again John which he vanished for several years.
He later turns back up in the darker parts of the city as a bounty hunter of some renown. He soon got sick of just dragging people back to for coin. He decided to sell his services to those who would pay to see their version of justice done. His trademark is a single black flower left in the home of the men paid to be guilty.
Known to his enemies as Tarmikos the Death Dealer and his allies as the Tarmikos Laughing Ass he is a man of many sides.

Yeah ok ok. Emrick could be a bastard child too and evil could surround him his entire childhood like first, a man forcing a elf, his mother either died at child birth from Emrick being half human or abandoned him to save her pride or at the behest of her tribe. Thusly this would lead to non-acceptance from elves as well as humans. Growing up surrounded by wrong doing he would either fall prey to it as well or go to the extreme opposite and try to be a good. After a few years he has met a wonderful girl (human or elf) around his age (18-20) and has helped a few people along the way, but good things never last...the darkness would once again surround him and take away from him his love, all of his feelings of remorse or pity. Men jealous of the girls love for Emrick the "filthy halfbreed" would beat her then have their way with her while forcing Emrick to watch helplessly. The men leaving and his binds falling off as if held by the darkness he would crawl over to his love and put her head on his lap as he screamed up at the sky. She barely with a slither of life and her face full of sadness asked one last thing " Kiss me my love... then kill me." Emrick kissing her gently then killing her in the most painless way he could, takes her body deep into the (forest of something light/dark etc.) and lays her body in a meadow with hundreds of beautiful flowers. Emrick strokes her hair softly then gets up sheding his last tear and his emotions with it...

Emrick would seek revenge first, but he would make his prey suffer as he had. (Slowly torturing or doing something to them then finally killing them) Now Emrick would travel the world seeking the darkness or light (which is the other face of darkness) that controls peoples hearts and he vowed to destroy it. He may have become emotionless ( at least to people at first glance) and ruthless, but he will not let some force control his fate any longer! His journey would begin with him wanting to learn as much as possible and become experienced in the ways of battle and lore. ( and other things should someone think of something. I think thats all that comes to mind at the moment.)

Awesome. Keep it coming this is getting good. We're really going to have fun with this. Our characters are just totally screwed up. We need some serious group therapy. Does anyone know the number to a good 1/2 orc shrink?

I pity Matt for having to tie us all in...LOL
