Online mapping?

I'm running a PbP game for me and my recently-dispersed-across-the-country friends (college tends to do that), and I'm finding I have to do all my maps in ASCII. I.e:

Code:
____234_____________________________________________________
    1K5
  CW T6
HH Uj7 h&
HH %Ja8
   $#@9
_____!___________________________________________________

With each of the letters being a named character, the H's being a horse taking up 4 squares, and 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 representing bandits 1-9 and !, @, #, $, %, ^, & representing bandits 10-16, since putting two digits messing everything up.

This is a tremendous pain in the butt, and the message board we're doing this on, which is run by a friend of mine, has no "upload pictures" function. I at one time found an online flash application on which you could draw a map on a grid, convert that map to text code, post the code, and other people could cut-and-paste that code back into the application and see the map. Anyone know of where I might find this, or any other mapping solution?
