I am looking for 5 more players (will be 6 total) to participate in Wizards of The Coast Adventure Path modules (Forge of fury, standing stone, speaker in dreams, etc etc. -- Sunless citadel is being skipped and replaced with something else) which will take place in Forgotten Realms setting and using DnD 3.5 (PHB or SRD required for 3.5)
The game is taking place via play - by -post on my personal ad-free, fast website located at www.playbypostrpg.com . This will be my third campaign and I have a fair amount of experience now running this kind of game. My play by post games move fast and furious, so people who can only post once a day shouldn't bother applying.
The modules will be modified to meet my preferences and altered to make up for shortcomings in the modules. There will be side-adventures in between and players are free to pursue personal goals as well if they wish.
Characters start at level 1.
Brief list of requirements (visit my site for more details and see Applying page):
- Be willing to stick through campaign from level 1-20 .. this means long-term dedication. If you can only stick around a few weeks or months, don't bother applying. Characters are free to go Epic Level afterwards if they wish (and own epic level handbook).
- Have NOT played, read or own any of the 3.0 modules adventure path series -- for obvious reasons. If I suspect any player using advanced knowledge of the modules (despite it being modified) the player will be warned and possibly removed.
- Enjoy roleplaying not just hack n slash -- you must be willing to breathe life into your character-- I don't want people who only participate for combat.
- At the same time you should enjoy a healthy mix of action, as there will be plenty of it.
- Have experience playing DnD 3.0 or 3.5 and be familiar with the rules (and own the phb or SRD) -- no "newbies" to roleplaying (newbies to DnD rules is fine as long as you understand the rules decently, but I don't want players who have very limited experience in actual roleplaying).
- Must be 19 years old minimum (can't verify but I will know pretty fast based on maturity level) --- teens are too flighty and screwed-up to rely on as regular players.
- IMPORTANT: Be able to post several times a day (not just once). Missing a day now and then is fine as long as I am informed beforehand.
- Be able to post most often between the hours of 6pm-12am EASTERN (doesn't matter if you are in PST - just make sure you can post between those hours more often than other hours, as that is when I get home from work).
That's about it. Please visit and read my site THOROUGHLY before applying - my campaign may not be to your liking, so don;t waste your time or mine by applying without knowing what you're getting into.
