I think it's clear that we agree to go to the nearest settlement, drop the courier, and come back. I'm fine with fast forwarding this part, and even better if we find Dent at the settlement, Tolan leave us there, and and fast-forward to being in front of the cavern.

I'm travelling for work this week for a tradeshow (anyone live in Cleaveland? ;-)
My post rate will likely be lower than usual, but I will keep up.
FYI, I hope Tolan left his mount for Dent, even if he's never flown?
I think it's ok if we assume that Tolan bowed out after we met with Dent, and left for more spiritual pursuits. My 2 cents,

Would a 5 ft square bondfire block the entrance/exit of the cave? I'm thinking of using create bondfire to block the exit/damage savvy monks that want to get out, but I can't see on the map if there a 5ft square bottleneck. If enemies coming out could go around said bondfire, Thaliss will blast instead. Thanks for letting me know!

The entrance is 15 feet across.
