So far, nothing we've faced has seemed all that bothered by us getting to whatever room they were in... how do we know this isn't the prophet?

I've got comprehend languages, but that would just let me understand them. Can't otherwise communicate. Plus I only have 1/2 spell slots left, so Damien would probably keep that in reserve just in case.

Thaliss has the opposite problem. He can talk to them telepathically, but won't understand their answers...

Figuring they were bound to disturb the hornet's nest at some point with all the wanton ransacking, Damien sheathed himself in infernal ice for protection and called forth his pact blade.

OOC: Casting Armor of Agathys and creating my pact weapon before hostilities break out...

I'm waiting to find out what information Thaliss has that the rest of us, or at least Damien, does not. So far, we've pretty much been attacking everything we come across. I'm not exactly sure why we aren't attacking this guy too.

Ditto for Damien this time. How did he know and what is his source of information?
