Tolan is using a shark-toothed sword right? I forgot this, but he should be dealing an extra die of damage... to basically everything in this fight because they're all unarmored.

Just wondering, is that a magic property of the weapon or a function of the weapon itself. I wonder if Damien could form his pact weapon as a shark-tooth sword?
ETA: Oops, I totally forgot that I had cast Darkness on the dagger. Zoinks!

It could be that it's more of a property of the reaver than the sword. That might actually be the intent. They don't do extra damage with their javelins.
If it is in the creature's stat block, I'd go with it being a property of the creature.
So, about those grenade rules... LOL, I'm looking forward to seeing how you handle that. I mean, I think I hit her, but then is the blade stuck in her with the darkness following her around or does it fall out? Fun!
Yeah, it sounds kind of like an exotic weapon proficiency. A 'through specialized training, Reavers have learned how to use these unwieldy blades to rend and tear at flesh.' kind of thing. I'd be fine with not having it work for Tolan as otherwise, these things rapidly become the best weapon in the game. And they look kind of silly.
I was just about to post something about that... Wow, sleep is like a perfect weapon for this crew. Feel free to put me asleep if its for the greater good.
It's not a scalpel, that's for sure, but I am hoping that at least one of the reavers is caught in the crossfire.
I'm embarrassed if not. (But I get extra XP for taking out a party member? Is that right?).
