My vote goes for venturing down below and beating the crap out of some ogres, but (as always) I'm easy either way. Dent's sitting at something like 33/44 hp, and is out of spell slots, healing, and all other paladin abilities.

Carradoc also doesn't mind pressing on, but the Knight Captain's safety is paramount; if he thinks the prisoners are safe for another night, even with him gone, then we can wait. I think we do not want him with us, but safe somewhere else.

And Yes, Carradoc has a brilliant idea on how to get magic from the lich room. He'll need some help, and it has to be the last thing done at the monastery. But I've heard his plan, and I think it is going to work!

Ditto for Thaliss. He's been using cantrips only, so he's almost at full spell slots, and full HP, so he can press on, but is fine with waiting another day to continue the slaughter ;-)

IC: Damien is mostly hurt and down to a single spell slot, plus he doesn't really care about the captives in so much as destroying evil to make way for himself. OOC: I'd be worried that not pressing on now will end up in dead or removed captives.

LOL, no problem. I can apply that across. Next time you roll, remember that Brue has the GWF style, so she can re-roll 1s and 2s. I don't recall off the top of my head the rolling convention for that.

Ready to move on... I'd advocate either going back down the stairs and taking on the ogres/orogs, or checking the hole that Thaliss created and seeing if we have a more direct route to any prisoners that way. We're wounded enough that we probably don't want to risk any unnecessary fights if we can help it.
