Sorry to see you go but sounds like you've got some very long nights ahead of you. Best of luck to you.
I've run a paladin as the primary healer before and it was tight even with a 4 person party and I suspect the DM pulling punches. It could be helped by heavy investment in healing items but thats going to hurt the groups assets and will only cover so much (I still wont have access even through items to higher level heals).
I'm fine with any of the proposed solutions.

Well, the Druid is returning and we have the paladin, so we might get by with that. I don't think it would be in the proper spirit of this adventure to pull any punches. I've already been very generous with gear. Sadly, my request for a new healer type seems to be generating no interest at all. Maybe the weekend wasn't the best time to start asking. If we don't get a bite today I fear we'll have to procede without a cleric or let renau1g play two characters or me npc the cleric. This is something I would rather the players decide. I don't want anyone to feel slighted.
On a related note, has anyone heard from 'Only the Strong'? Our Monk seems to be missing in action as well.

We have a new, well re-playered, cleric as of this morning. Logan Lightbringer will continue under Leif with whom several of you are acquainted.
In celebration and because I am such a nice guy, I'm giving you all an opportunity to make minor adjustments to your characters. If after this first little battle anyone is dissatisfied with the way they constructed a character minor changes may now be made such as changing feats, magic items, skills even ability scores if you wish. Just stay within the original guidelines for the game and let me know what changes you are making.

What a bonus! I get a pre-made-up character, but I get to totally re-write any parts of him that don't suit me. Is St. Peter upset that you took his job away? 
I'll try to get Logan all tricked-out tonight, but I've got some other stuff to do also, so I might not get to it as soon as we'd all like.
