What counts as "old music" varies from ear to ear. I mean, I only actually heard a song by Nick Drake last year, so it is still pretty new to me, although he's been dead a couple decades now.

Of course if I reached for The Chad Mitchell Trio, that would be Old Music for me ... like from my childhood.

Or if I reach back to my 20s, I would have to haul out a lot of Peter Gabriel, Joy Division, U2 (pre-Joshua Tree), Bauhaus and the like.

Music. Whatever floats yer boat.
