There is a growing list of odd beliefs the OOTS characters have. For example:

Durkon - Hates/fears trees.
Haley - Doesn't trust marsupials.
Elan - Too many to count.
Belkar - ...is just Belkar.
Roy - ???

Roy believes he leads this adventuring party

Half vampire perhaps? IIRC the SS entry for that template had an albino gnoll.

SS? Don't know what that is, but it's for sure on p106 of Libris Mortis. Steve Prescott blows my mind every time.


Could be a half-vampire.

Or a full vampire with some magic item that protects him from sunlight: keep in mind they've got an entire nation's worth of wealth to draw from in making items, and they're likely high level. Granted, the Dragon requiring a pile of gold to sleep on would complicate things in terms of freely spending wealth, but I'm sure it could be done.

Or this could be a classic OOTS red herring, where we think it's one thing and it turns out to be another
