A friend pointed out the following:

Page 2, the tiger winks, to give a wink to the following,

1. The female elf is placed in there as a promise to a kickstarter promise

2. the person gave 5000 dollars, shown as a payment or 5000 gp to get stuck where they are, the gnome city

3. the kickstarter payment was made 3 years ago, as made mention by the body guard of the trip to get where they are at seemed to take 2 or 3 years

4. she, the donater, was promised a cameo, and the character says, "I could have bought a brooch or a cameo" therefor she was given this cameo!

Oh, that makes that a little more interesting... although dang, the amount of money some people are able to put up for Kickstarters is amazing. And here's me going "Can I really afford the extra $50 for something cooler?"

Can we return to the question of just how Vampirism works in this context. When Durkon was first Vamped, and then it was discovered that he had this entity possessing him, there was some speculation that this was not your standard-issue 3.x version of a Vampire. Yet this week the creature in Durkon's head clearly identifies himself as a Vampire. Thoughts?
