What do you think he's doing? An energy drain attack?
He's grappling, which deals unarmed damage, which for Durkula includes taking 2 levels off the top. Roy gets a bucket of penalties, Durkula gets 10 temp HP.

Grappling also shuts off Roy's sword until Roy breaks the grapple. and Durkula should also have enough BAB to go for at least 1 pin this round, which will get him 5 to 20 temp HP and cost Roy 1d4 con and make escaping the grapple a bit harder.

Roy does still have a chance, but it is going to diminish fast as Durkula dines.

Bit of metagaming here: I'm presuming OotS isn't about to end with the world being destroyed. So, really, Roy has to win this fight. Somehow.

Unless... I suppose it's possible the demigods are in favour of destruction by a single vote, which could then be overturned by Banjo and the Sexy Shoeless God of War...
