Unless the construction of the cradle-for-all-lifekind inherently weakens the prison, it might simply not matter. If the Snarl breaks free, it is going to eat that cradle.

Okay, so did it ever occur to them to maybe not make their world-eating-abomination-prison and their cradle-for-all-lifekind one and the same place?

Maybe they did create a ton of worlds with life on, separate from The Snarl's Prison - only to have a bunch of them be conquered at once by Ganonron:

There's a strong implication that, no matter what they do, rifts eventually appear.
