Anyone else think the gate is inside of the statue? And the other locations are all dummies?

the Incomparably Shrewd and Clever
The gates seems to be anchored to a point in space regardless of any structural support. Now that the statue has animated and moved, the gate would have been left behind. Still a clever idea for a misdirect!
