Wild guess, I'm gonna say it's someone related to Serini, the halfling who made Kraagor's Gate.

Looks to me like a carbon copy of the demons that gave V the soul splice, with a different color robe. The text on the cauldron also looks similar.
I got hung up on the line: "I've been awake about an hour. I must've gotten a smaller dose than you did." It really highlights to me how much the comic has changed. This should have been a comment about saves. The fact that it isn't makes me kind of... disappointed? Nostalgic? Sad?
