Well, so far he seems to be playing the annoying part well. "I'm Elan!" "Yes, so you have told me no fewer than seven times in the last hour."

Considering how everyone but Haley, who cannot speak, basically ignores Elan, it will probably be a long time. Nice setup for mayhem to come.

I suspect that Nale will be more useful to the party than Elan ever was.

Granted he wants to kill them all, but they already have Belkar so that would not make much of a difference.
