So, the Linear Guild Core Members are now Secret Prisonners of the State in Azure City. ...I suspect they might get freed by someone who doesn't realize they're actually Evil...

Like, say, a certain Paladin we all know and loathe? :]
Well, if Rich were to set up a plot to make her fall (and at this point I must say I think that's unlikely, since he seems to have pegged her as a "living example" of the worst that Paladins have to offer a game), that'd be a spectacular way to go about it. If anybody could charm her into doing something truly Evil, it'd be Nale.

Thing is, in an anti-magic cell, Sabine's form-changing effect will naturally be suppressed, so she'll be forced to wear her fiendish form by default. Which should mean the Paladin in question will immediately recognize that she's not helping the cause of Light if she does free them.

Something just came to me: Isn't the illusionary Belkar in the anti-magic cells? Illusion magic in anti-magic cell?

How much you wanna bet that Sabine's true fiendish form is not the sexy chick with horns and wings? I can just picture Nale's shock to find out she's a big bubba-type he-fiend.

If this turns out to be true, not only will it be funny beyond all telling, but I'd calling shenanigans on Rich never taking plots from others. :D

I think Belkar was (at least originally) kept in the dank, rotten, regular cells rather than the relatively swanky anti-magic ones the rest of the group weree kept in. That's how he managed to escape initially. I'm not sure where his illusion ws supposed to be kept at, though.

I don’t doubt that Rich has such gags already figured out well before he starts the set up. If I happen to predict the gag/outcome, I’ll assume it’s because he and I (and many others) have a similar sense of humor – I won’t claim to be the originator of the gag/outcome (ie. that he took it from me).

Nothing’s worse than designing an adventure 3 months ago, and then having the Players tonight tell you that you made it up from listening to their discussion on it last game session.

OotS #365:
Nale: Must...resist...urge to assert...heterosexuality! For the sake...of the plan!
Sabine: Honey, I'm a shapechanger. It's not like we never tried...
Nale: Not! Helping!
