That was great!

But I'm very dense sometimes. Could someone explain the penultimate panel to me in very small words?

Daniel

Remember this? And this?

That's what the Gods of the South are complaining about... Thor overstepping the bounds of his authority outside his jurisdiction.

Cliffport's in the South.

Awesome strip.

Though I wonder if Rich has been reading DM of the Rings? DotR CI, which posted yesterday, also referenced kill stealing and ninjas.
I failed my spot check: I didn't see any ninja reference in that strip. (But I liked the comment about The Complete Adventuring Fisherman.)

I'm having trouble deciding what line was better:

HEY! No kill-stealing!

or

We've been standing next to you for like four hours.

Yes I did like the four hours line. Everyone in the OotS and their allies seem to have really poor Spot checks. I don't think anyone has managed to spot a ninja in the strip to date. Of course, ninjas are meant to be really good at stealth.

Makes for more dramatic story telling...

I disagree; it would be just as valid that they heard about what Thor did up north in Cliffport, and didn't want him bringing any of his rule-bending malarky down to their territory. Tiger is saying basically, "We don't let rule-benders do their stuff down here in our lands, go back to Cliffport where you can do whatever you want." This might be the true meaning of the terms "Northern Gods" and "Southern Gods": that's the geographical territory where they're allowed to run wild without the other pantheons interfering.

Given that the Twelve Gods are Asian-themed, Azure City is Asian-themed, and Cliffport is specifically NOT Asian-themed, it seems unlikely that Cliffport is the territory of the Twelve Gods. Plus, Roy's father is originally from Cliffport, but Roy refers to the Twelve Gods as "your gods" when talking to Miko.
