That's what it seemed to be to me too.

I'd seriously doubt it - first off, it looks like the snarl from previous strips. Secondly, our view point is Roy's viewpoint, so we can't be looking at the Epic Scry. We may change perspectives down in future strips, but the initial "establishing shot" should probably be what Roy is seeing.

He's male. Pretty much amounts to the same thing. Some just have better self-control than others.

Some have better self-control and others have little interest. The ones with self-control I can respect, but the ones with little interest I don't understand.

The only glimpse I have into that mindset would be on evolutionary terms...that perhaps those that had enough interest to breed but not enough to cheat would stay around their offspring&mates long enough to see them succeed.

As a random thought, I seem to recall a couple strips ago when V was trying to scry for Haley and couldn't, people were suggesting that Haley Starshine may not be her real name as one possible additional reason why the scry attempts were failing.

Well, given that Roy used the name 'Haley Starshine' to scry on the city, chances are high (albeit not completely ruled out) that Haley Starshine is in fact her real name.

Pray you don't make the experiences they had or you will understand them.

Is there some way we can rig the Internet to give a light, but painful, electric shock to a poster whenever he/she posts, "builder strip"? And a medium, more painful shock to a poster when he/she posts, "yawn"?

I'll take a turn peddling the cycle to charge up the turbine.
