I couldn't help but notice that this wouldn't make sense under 4E, between how skills work and how multiclassing seems to be shaping up.

I don't know if it's deliberate on Rich's part, but whether he threw that in on purpose, or it just happened organically and thus reflects how ingrained the 3E framework is in his thinking, I think it should give pause to those who are convinced he's going to go 4E.
