I noticed the baseball head golem but I didn't know that he was the NY Mets mascot.

Mr Met? Who he?

Mr. Met, the mascot of the New York Mets baseball team... In the strip, he's the golem farthest to the right in the last frame that you see the golems.

Notice the baseball stitched head, the tiny baseball cap, the Adidas athletic shoes, and the 00 in the bottom corner of his jersey.

WHAT?! Why is Mr. Met a flesh golem?! Their actually doing good this season!

I guess either Rich likes the Mets, or it's a slap at them, showing that he has good taste in baseball teams.
