Leaving aside the fact that you can already attack an adjacent foe who makes a ranged or area attack as an OA, that's way too powerful for a 4E feat, I'm afraid...

That might work as well. The Radiant Servant PP's 11th level attack power stuns demons and undead for 1 round. Hence, a PP encounter ability that imposed a lesser form of action denial (cannot use arcane spells for 1 round) probably would not be unbalanced, and the AP benefit might allow the PC spend an AP to use an encounter power instead of a basic attack when making an OA provoked by an enemy using a ranged or area attack.

If we want to discuss this further, we should probably fork it to House Rules, though.

I think Roy took training for the Mage Slayer feats, but hard to tell.

That's what I thought. But even if he did, Rich will probably never say and will make it work slightly different, just to throw us off. I hope so, though. Cause that feat really helps.


I actually enjoyed this strip. Mostly because I knew the way things were going, it was impossible for it to be both massive AND "happy," and I'm sick of melodrama. Also, my friend WAS expecting a huge strip of awesomeness, and was incredibly upset it didn't turn out like that. Kinda makes me smile...

Roy wasn't one of my favourite characters but I think I've (ironically) warmed to him since he's been dead. I thought this was a "nice" strip. Not hysterically funny but I enjoyed it all the same. I would like to see Roy get raised and the gang get back together soon though.
