OotS #656 Is Up

Rich has said that O-Chul's Constitution is mid-twenties. Someone on Rich's forums contested that, saying that an NPC at level 16 couldn't get a Constitution that high, or that it would have required a ridiculous chain of magical items/coincidences. Nonetheless, Rich did it anyway.

Interesting. So Rich Burlew made O-Chul the Energizer Paladin.

Yes: He keeps going, and going, and going...

This strip is so good right now. I just can't wait to see what happens next with V, Xykon, O-Chul, and the MitD.

(And so the characters ARE statted out!)

18 at 1st level, +4 for level-based increases, a +2 inherent bonus thanks to Wishes/Miracles/Tomes. I don't have my DMG handy to calculate the affordability of 2 castings of Wish for a 16th level character (more cost effective than buying a tome to just buy the spellcasting, that I do recall), but 2 castings would do for that. That's a 24 CON, for +7 bonus, for 112 bonus HP before 16d10 for levels of Paladin and Fighter that O'Chul has. Given the kind of guy he has, good money on him having Diehard, and maybe Toughness and some of the bigger toughness feats from the splatbooks.

He's probably going to have Power Attack and some other melee feats, enough that with some good hits he could plausibly really mess up Redcloak on a critical hit, but that sounds plausible for a 16th level Fighter/Paladin.
